Prepare to be captivated by an extraordinary artistic journey as Frascione Gallery proudly presents Embracing Divinity: A State of Grace, an immersive exploration of human connection and emotion. From April 19th to May 30th, 2024, at Frascione Gallery’s Palm Beach location on 256 Worth Avenue, viewers will be transported into a realm where passion, maternal love, and divine emotion converge.
Curator and creative director Daisy Diaz introduces a fresh body of work, featuring a selection of paintings, sketches, and works on paper by Cuban artist Reynier Llanes, alongside masterpieces from the 16th and 17th centuries by Florentine painters Francesco Botti and the Master of the Lamentation of Scandicci. This unique artistic venture aims to highlight the beauty of the human embrace across various scenarios, from the enchanting to the contemplative.
Llanes’ vibrant iconographic language of multicolored dreamscapes has made him one of the most recognizable Latin artists of today. Pieces from his series The Poet, The Tourist and The Keepers, will be showcased alongside the Old Masters, creating a juxtaposition that suggests the transcending power and divine emotion of the embrace. These artworks invite viewers to embark on an introspective journey, exploring the fragile nature of human relationships and contemporary society.
From Florence to Palm Beach, Frascione Gallery has recently debuted its first US location on prestigious Worth Avenue. As a fifth-generation family business, Frascione Gallery is a leading international art gallery with masterpieces from the European Renaissance to the Contemporary.
